    Hi there,

Any advice greatly appreciated. I'm after spending the last hour trying to decipher info on the revenue website and I am none wiser. I am a PAYE employee but last year I did some freelance work and I want to pay my tax now! I did register as an independent contractor about 5 years ago for a job that lasted about 7 months but after I made the one tax return necessary I never used that status again. Would it still be valid? If not, do I need to register as self-employed again? If so, is it a Form 11 I need to submit? Tax just puts my head in a complete spin so for any tax geniuses out there who can help me, thanks very much!:D

Yep, form 11. Most of the form will be irrelevant to you. Make sure to include your expenses!
