How long for VLC to be sent to new owner?

My brother bought a second hand car a few weeks ago & the VLC was sent by previous owner to Shannon. Anyone know how long it normally takes for the VLC to be sent out to new owner? He's tried ringing them in Shannon the last few days, but they've obviously got the phone hidden away in the bottom of a filing cabinet while they twiddle their thumbs work their blessed socks off:rolleyes:.

A friend bought a new car last month, it took about a fortnight for the cert to arrive.

follow the link below and put in the reg. it will tell you if there has been a change nitified recently, if it has the vlc should be out in 4/5 days. it can take up to 4 weeks at times but this is the quiet time of the yr for car sales.
