    this is officially ridiculous.

i'm not sure Utd are even getting much out of this it's such a stroll.

"He enjoys getting forward like a (long pause) greyhound"

Is that the best ya can come up with?

    What a goal.

Does aviva not have a camera on a track like most stadiums to track up and down the field? Way better shots than the guys controlling the cameras on the platform.

The standard of football played by about 99.9% of clubs in the world is woeful relative to Utd.

Jaysus, you can't keep giving it away around your own box!! Ndo undoes a lot of his better work from earlier.

Good finish from Park in the end mind.

Airtricity lads aren't even trying now. Just a question of how many Utd fancy tbh.

I see Richie Ryan getting ready.

Sh*t's about to change now. 5-4 Airtricity League.

Better get him to get another two at least i'd say.

Believe that if you want. The standard is woeful in the LOI and that is why many won't see them again. Maybe if they put in an effort tonight some of the support that is there for Man U might start looking at the clubs down the road.

    Anyway not on topic.

It is men against boys here, the LOI team is made up of a mix or part-timers and full time professionals, there is only one player in that team that is on more than €1000 a week, first time they met up was on monday. It just wouldn't be possible for most of them to put in an effort and then play again on friday, fitness just isn't there, I was told that some of them had to take time off work to play tonight.

Come on, that's horrendous. Part - time / game in a couple of days / whatever - that's really basic stuff.

He has been waiting a long time for that goal!

Can someone lose the ball so they can all go home early?

    Very hard to watch now.

Well at least the fans are happy :o.

So much for the pinch of respect our league had outside of the country(to go along with the small bit it has IN the country). This is being shown in pubs all over the UK.

    Painful to watch now

A foul throw , do my eyes decieve me? I thought they got rid of those years ago as no one seems to be pulled up for them anymore.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,697 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    lads,

don't start the LOI v 'barstoolers' debate.

    i can sense it coming.

i'm putting this in now, so hopefully we don't have to ban anyone.

    so END IT...

i've deleted a few dodgy posts, and those quoting them, as a result...

Its grand noone watches matches in pubs in england, they actually go to them.

    There's a reason why Saturday, 3pm kick-offs aren't shown live in England.

They should have just had Bohs or Rovers play against them rather than a group of players who dont know each others' ways of playing. Give them the weekend off for it.
