    Grats on the misleading thread title.

    I assure you plenty of unqualified candidates run for office time to time. Theres even one or two old coots that campaign in their home towns to run for president - whether they actually file the paperwork or run with a party is an entirely different story. Daily Show did a piece on one of those crazies a few years back, during the Kerry-Bush election. I would find and link the video but 98% of the people in this thread wouldnt be able to view it.
