Erm. The easiest way to describe it is that I get high off it. Sugar, yeast, wheat and a few other things. Also causes me to get cold sores, ulcers, rashes, psoriasis etc when consumed in large doses (see delicious beer).

I think Tar could have an intolerance to sugar.........

Kind of the opposite really heh. I get really doped out of it.

Are we debating the time the banks close now?? Hmm...

I'm in the library in college cos I was too lazy to walk home and I have to get the bus to work at half four. :D

The keyboard I am using is horrible. Keeps sticking and it's annoying me.
Does anyone know if I could hook up a monitor and keyboard to by netbook and use it as the hard-drive. Finding looking at the tiny screen lately is really giving me a headache a lot. I always get headaches anyway but they are getting worse!

I think I'm getting the flu also, currently have a sharp pain in the left side of my head above my ear and between my eye if you get me. :(

Feeling crappy lately, not really helping that I'm finished work in like, 24 days so I'm back to unemployment, my sister (who is without a shadow of a doubt my best friend and favourite person in the world), is going on holidays today for 10 days, my boyfriend is going away on Saturday for 10 days, and I'm all feeling sad!

Enough of my rantyface now, I'll stop!!

    hmmm blog post time...

I hate most of the keyboards in college :(

hmm about the monitor keyboard thing, you definitely can.........

    http://blogs.computerworld.com/using_a_260_netbook_as_a_desktop_replacement

You can hook up your laptop to a bigger monitor using the vga port on your laptop.

    http://www.ehow.com/how_5809187_hook-up-keyboard-laptop.html

Can hook your laptop up to a keyboard with a PS/2-to-USB adapter.

Do you have a monitor and keyboard available to you?

hmm I never thought of doing this and we have a spare monitor and keyboard at home.

Well that was me using google tech support :P

Maybe someone who dose da computers can help you better.

I also have a bit of a cold and my eyes are burning all the time, I think from being out of daylight for too long.
    /ranty

Oh remind me of your blog again.

btw what size laptop do you have? Mine is an ickle 10 inch and it's really started to get to me how small it is, I like my tabs :D

Ye you can, it's easy. Just plug them in and such. Also, what keyboard needs a ps/2 adaptor these days, DCU keyboards, that's what, haw.

Also I've had sugar in the form of a large packet of love hearts.

Shuup, I'm pretty sure all of ours in the labs do and at home!

Plus she's probably not going to be splashing out on a new keyboard, probably has an old scrap one to use.

I don't do da computers, dun ask me :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,168 ✭✭✭Ms. Koi

    Depends really!
might scour the internet for a cheap monitor and keyboard. Don't actually have them at home, but tempted to see if the college have any old spare ones hehe!

It's a toshiba and I am not going to lie to you, I have no idea what size it is. Alls I know is it is incredibly small and starting to really annoy me! I feel like a giant human leaning over it and trying to type with it!!! Raar!!

If anyone has a spare monitor or keyboard floating about the place let me know!

    (I'll pay!!)

    I'm off to workies now...bah!!

    Talk to you all later!!

Oh that's a good idea, check with the college or ask about, definitely easy to get. I'm holding onto mine thanks to your genius idea :D

Mine's not uncomfortably small or anything, still runs everything as normal, just I'm getting greedy with my screen space now.

    Laters!

    Oh God poor thing :(

I've asked the bf if he has any spares. I remember seeing old keyboards with ps/2 connectors (seriously... in this century, why would anyone keep them?) in his office, so he might have usb ones. He'll check anyway. As for monitors, he doesn't have tft but miiight have a crt. Would that help?

I'm watching all of Skins this summer due to pressure from my friend. I stopped at the second season I think, but since I can't remember the bits I did see I'm rewatching the first couple of seasons. I still love Cassie, and still think Maxxie is waaaay too hot to be on that programme. *faints*
