There are cinrgeworthy t-shirts. For example I know a guy who wears a Liverpool jersey, with 'Up the Dubs' on the back

Mate of mine got Liverpool jersey with Robbie Keane's name and number printed on the back of it, back during that short lived time..... He now wonders how long has he to wait until it's retro, and thus cool for him to wear it again. I should really point him to this thread :pac:

All dated sports shirts are naff a week after the event.:(
But concerts shirts they just get cooler by the year. . . as long as the band were cool first day. :D I have a Thin Lizzy Slane 1981 shirt. Was one of my older bros. But it always gets great comments when worn.

The word naff is probably the uncoolest thing ever.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone under 50 use it (no, it wouldn't be cool to start) and now cool over 50's either, the naff ones.

2FM had an offer years ago where Leaving Cert classes could send in a page with their signatures and order Tshirts at £9 a pop. I still have my Class of 94 one. (I don't wear it much anymore).

any date on a shirt is sad imo...especially those rock and metal ones with a list of tour dates on the back

there was a brand called naff naff back in the day that was definitely down with the kids- they had baseball type jackets, bomber jackets, tshirts similar to hypercolor ones and so on,the clothes were sheiite so thats probably where the term naff comes from.
