T shirts with the date on - how old is uncool?

    When you buy the t-shirt it seems like a great idea - a few years later I'm not so sure. Today I saw a guy wearing "Portugal 2001" - just 9 years old .......................what's the oldest you have/have seen?

    When I was in Berlin I saw DDR 60 Jahre tshirts on sale. Obviously aimed at diehard commies who dont accept that 1989/90 ever happened ???

    I was daft enough to get a plain tee printed with my DOB which was back in 76 [my date off birth not when I got the tee printed] mind you no one seems to notice it, or me. :D

    The only uncool t-shirts are the ones where somebody tries to express their idiotic opinions on political topics. It's a ****ing t-shirt not a blog!

    my favourite one says "guns don't kill people, dangerous minorities do" and has a picture of a bloke with a turban. i don't think it's the slightest bit uncool, so up yours, little devil.

    All dated sports shirts are naff a week after the event.:(
    But concerts shirts they just get cooler by the year. . . as long as the band were cool first day. :D I have a Thin Lizzy Slane 1981 shirt. Was one of my older bros. But it always gets great comments when worn.

    There are cinrgeworthy t-shirts. For example I know a guy who wears a Liverpool jersey, with 'Up the Dubs' on the back :confused:

    I've a Lions rugby shirt which is in great nick and fits me lovely, but it's from 2001, it has it stitched above the crest, and i actually won't wear it out, seen as its now 9 years old!

    I also still have a world cup t shirt from USA 94, but i only wear that to bed :D

    I still have a Northwest 200 T Shirt from 2000. Means a lot to me as I was at this just before Joe Dunlop got killed. We were up that part of the country a month later to go to his funeral.

    Think my neighbour regularly wears some 80's (90's?)Simon & Garfunkle t-shirt that he got which has a list of a shít load of their gigs in the 80's (90's?) through England, Scotland, Wales, IOM and Ireland. He's a painter and it's full of paint. :D

    oldest i know of is either itallia 90 or a bono t-shirt that i know of someone owns. no me though oldest i have is a disney land one that has 2006 on it!:o

    I've a Rush 1979 Tour tshirt, but it's a reprint. Real oldest tshirt is a Mars Attacks movie tshirt, that came with the special edition tape :D
