    HI,
MP3Fiesta website (russian) have a lot of Arcade Fire stuff.
Including White album, Black album and Lass Uns Tanzen remixes & Christmas album

Anyone know about these (white & black seem to be mainly songs from their albums. Can anyone spot any songs in there that aren't on the albums?

    Cheers,
    Pa.

The White Session is an old (circa 2005) live session recorded for a radio show, and you shouldn't have to pay for it. There is no Black Session, Arcade Fire never recorded one, I suspect it's a mislabelled White Session. It's been floating around for a while, but it's not legit.

    EDIT:

The one marked "B sides" are actually, mostly, really old recordings and demos from before Funeral. They're mainly alt-country, and not really the the same band as such, they don't sound anything like them. Most of the people involved in their recording - including the vocalists for some songs, incidentally - aren't in the band anymore and I wouldn't really recognise them as Arcade Fire.

The most notable exception is Cars & Telephones, which is awesome, but again, available for free. They've played it live at least once.

"Christmas Album" is somebody's tape recording of a bunch of drunken singalongs at a party some of Arcade Fire were at. Don't bother with it, it's just a load of drunks shouting terrible made up songs.

There is a fine, near-comprehensive - and more importantly, free - list of Arcade Fire oddities at http://thetorturegarden.blogspot.com/2005/12/great-arcade-fire-post.html

Just to stress - you should not have to pay for any of these tracks. Arcade Fire don't mind people sharing this stuff among themselves so long as nobody profits off it. Anything beyond the main three albums and the EP is probably from a live recording or a bootleg, but if you're not sure and you can give me a song title, I can tell you more and probably get you the track itself.
