No commitment volunteering Dublin southside/city centre

    Hello, just wondering if there are any volunteer options available in the south dublin area or city centre which dont require a commitment long term. I have checked a few other places (simon community and the like) and they require a commitment of at least a year. Since it is likely i will be heading abroad in the next few months i would want some thing shorter. Any ideas?

    Why don't you try the Capuchin Day Centre in Bow St, behind Smithfield. They offer meals, mainly to homeless people - breakfast and lunch. The work is clearing plates and helping to clean up when meal service is over. You need to get garda clearance, but once that comes through they are extremely flexible.

    Hi, you should check out http://www.volunteerdublin.ie/ - lots of different volunteer opportunities, many with short-term (e.g. as little as 2 hours) commitment. Good Luck!
