ye this is soo true im still getting them more then ever maybe every 1-2 games is 1 of the new maps starting to make me mad now i was thinking of deleteing them off my ps3 then redownloading them when they get sorted out so they aint coming up all the time

I think you have the right idea there mate, played for 4 hours last night, not a single sign of favella, derail, rust, bailout, wasteland... all that came up was the new maps and as much as I like carnivale its not worth having to sit through fuel or vacant for. (strike is, meh)

Speaking for myself here but maps like Favela and Afghan are visually appealing. Those are my favorite maps on MW2, simply for that reason and that's why I reckon I do well there much like certain maps in COD4(Strike, Crash, District, Broadcast, Showdown, etc.)

Agree with the majority of comments on Carnival. I don't feel comfortable playing it whatsoever. Like it's nice idea for a map and everything, and it's not like I struggle there but I'm just not a fan of it. Going back to Fuel.. I love the look of it but going over old ground it's nothing but a Ground War map. If they just reduced the outer part of the map(where The Rock ;) is) if not completely remove it that entire part.

It comes up nearly every 2nd - 3rd game in Sabotage and TDM which makes me

What I'd give for a tick list of maps in options, just uncheck maps you dont want to play and leave the rest. Hey we payed enough for the content we should be able to decide what parts we use and dont.

Eventually I'm sure we'd all end up selecting to play fuel and such again.... just not 5 times a night.

The one thing i like about Fuel is that its bright, its a nice, well lit map, not like Underpass or Rundown. I just won a FFA game on it there, was going to quit as I think its way too big for a FFA match but it was ok, that big huge rock you can climb onto out in the desert part (not THAT rock, the bigger one) is a great sniping spot, hung around that portion of the map and just picked people off, got a few revenge kill wannabes too, the ac-130 works brilliantly on that map as a lot of the building have glass all over them.

I quite enjoy them, but have noticed they do come up a lot more than the original maps.

I'm not sure exactly how, but there should be two (or one if you bought one) map pack downloads saved somewhere under "Game" in the playstation. Just delete them as you would any other file. You won't be able to play them again online. And you can just re-download them if you want from the PSN.
