Celtic Pubs in Glasgow

Hi all,
Heading over to the Celtic v Braga match next Wednesday, first time in Glasgow. Does anyone here know any good Celtic FC pubs in the city centre or near Celtic Park, in other words within walking distance of the stadium that are safe and with a good athmosphere? Ones away from any danger (Rangers fans and all that) aswell obviously!

they're all near the barrowlands (a ballroom / venue). it's a poor enough area but if you're there with a couple of lads and not wearing rangers jerseys you'll be fine in my experience.

this is another one across the river. cost you max a fiver in a taxi. http://www.brazenhead.co.uk/Main.html the area outside is a lot rougher but the pub inside is a bit more pub-like. this is prob the best place for post-match on a wednesday i'd imagine.

What he said above, they are your best bet, just don't get into trouble and you will be fine, cause trouble around these areas though and you will know about it.
Had some great nights in these areas when over for matches, craic is only mighty

Cheers lads we'll give these places a go! One thing though, from Google Maps it's a half an hour walk to the first street you gave, it there any easier way to get there after the match or is there usually a good crowd of people walking up there?

most generally walk from parkhead down gallowgate back to town. i've walked park head to the city centre many times and you hardly notice it. it makes the pint tastier too
