Okay Albania is not in the E.U so how the hell did these people get into the country and live here for over 2 years commiting serious crime along the way, it just shows that this country is seen as a soft touch by illegal immigrants, i suppose they were all drawing social welfare as well.

They were arrested for their own safety - the sun is too strong for them to be out.

Is it something like how Israel is allowed in European sports events and other competitions?

How do you know they were illegal? Do you think that immigration from non eu countries can only be done illegally?

Bloody foreigners. Coming over here, getting themselves on the Aertel. Taking up space on our tellys. And I betcha they don't even pay the license fee. They probably get it paid for them by the welfare. The bastards.

    That's not what you said.

You implied by the fact that they are non eu that they are a ) illegal and b ) getting welfare.

    Care to expand?

Can you draw welfare when you are an illegal

Should they be imprisoned or deported?

    I damn well hope not!

And deported, it's people like this that make life much harder for the rest of us legal immigrants

Not to worry OP, anti-Albanian legislation is being rushed through the Dail as we speak. We will all be safe soon.

Those options are good but I prefer if we just hang them without trial.

They're Albanians after all and we all know what they're like.

I agree deportation instead of meaningless jail term.

Why was it directed at me? If they are convicted they should be deported.

What usually seems to happen is they spend X minutes (well, jail terms are never long in Ireland are they?) in prison and are then deported upon release.

How so, I know people that have been living and working in the US for years illegally, I'd say France the UK and Germany have a much poorer record than us as people actually want to go there instead of take a gamble on Ireland.

Wouldn't be too difficult with the 70% Muslim population figure
