Joined a gym last night

    I've been wanting to join a gym for ages.

    I'm pretty skinny at the moment and generally feel intimidated around bigger dudes when I go into town and such, at work etc, but I plan on soon sorting that out.

    It cost me 40 euro for the month - which is a deal compared to some of the pansy ass gyms around that are full of machine weights, treadmills and girls trying to look slim for their debs.

    This is a hardcore gym, mostly free weights, rusty iron bars and some seriously big dudes down there.
    I don't feel intimidated by them cause now I feel like I'm part of their club.

    I was talking to some of the guys and they were telling me they work out every day - I mean these guys are huge - you can almost sense their power just standing beside them.

    We were talking about diet and training regime and I had really good heavy session - felt great after it.

    I went home and cooked five eggs and had a pint of milk and I was checking myself out in the mirror this morning and I swear, I think I'm getting bigger already.

    I can't wait to get stuck in again this evening and everyday after, and soon I'm gonna be huge and ripped, and then those guys that I was intimidated by will be kissing my ass - not to mention the fact the ladies will hanging off me cause I'm gonna be big and strong and I know they'll dig that.

    Anyways, I'm real glad I started - just wanted to share my enthusiasm with you guys.
    I'll keep you posted on how I get on.

    Hey, this is just general conversation.

    I'm not here to talk about what kind of weights I'm lifting or something.

    Just sharing how much better I feel now that I'm part of a club and really enthusiastic about something.
    I thought this would be a good place to just share that enthusiasm and get some feed back etc.

    Ok then, I'll bite... My advice, join some form of Martial arts club.. The gym will get tedious after a while.
