Laptop keyboard wont work when I load up XP

Working on reinstalling XP onto a laptop and the keyboard just wont work at all. It works fine in BIOS and during installation, but once XP loads it just dies. Device manager says its fine, I can't find a replacment driver online, and at this stage I'm willing to get on my knees and please it in any way I can just to get…

Hi sparky,

Have you booted in safe mode and see if it works there.

How To Boot Into Safe Mode

Also might be worth removing the keyboard from device manager, then rebooting and let the system find it , and reinstall it.
