Abducted by Scientologists

Happened to me while I was in New York for the first time recently.

I was sitting in Times Sq all on my own watching the hustle and bustle with a hot chocolate from Starbucks. All of a sudden this jittery young lad comes over to me with this leaflets about "Dianetics

He asked me to come with him to watch a film about it in there " Centre ". Reluctantly I went with him through this alleys and finally to New York's Scientology Centre. He obviously didn't want me to know it was Scientology.

So they put me in this tiny cinema room to watch a film about Dianetics, and I'm ****ting it thinking I'm going to be brainwashed:confused:. So I'm sitting there with one eye open sipping hot chocolate. After about 10 minutes it finished and I went to leave, but this crazy blonde sat me down again to purchase a book. I told her I had no money or credit card. ( she couldn't believe I was Irish) So then the little bee-oche opens my wallet and takes my laser card and starts swipping it through her machine and I'm like WTF!. I told her I was going to go get my brothers credit card and come back later, like fcuk!!

You'd want to have seen a little wicklow lad like me legging it home to the hotel with a story like this :P

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Was there a spaceship involved?

Stage 2 of the brainwashing process is a gay Cruise. Could have been fun OP.

    I'm fairly sure that
    a) abduction doesn't involve being asked nicely
    b) you should have not gone if you were so reluctant
    c) the same thing has been going on in cities around the world, including Dublin, for at least 20 years

Just ask them about Xenu - it always puts them on the back foot.

Sorry, but you followed some jittery weirdo through a series of alley ways, to a dark room, watched their propaganda, allowed someone rifle through your wallet and take your cards... what the hell is wrong with you?

And the second she touched your credit card without permission should have been the second you called the cops.

She didn't exactly have to resort to brian washing to get your wallet off you.

    The wallet inspector strikes again.....

If you had taken off all your clothes and defecated on her desk she might have asked you to leave.

I've often wondered if Scientology was actually set up and paid for by the Catholic church to make itself look a bit more plausible by comparison.

Agreed. OP you owe it to gullible fools everywhere to report this invasion of your person/privacy to the police!

    Was the film good?
Internal affairs were in on it the whole time.

Also, anyone who is over 20 and lives along the N4 based Dublin bus routes will have met these ****ers at one time or another.
