Hopefully someone can help me on this...

I have a 47cm Weber charcoal barbeque but have managed to rust the cooking grill so need to get a replacement part and thought that the good people of boards.ie might be able to help.

Anyone know of anywhere in the Dublin area that I could get a new one?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I couldnt locate any in Ireland. Uk was the best bet at 22 pounds sterling but they then charge for shipping. so with exchange rate it was at my house at just under 50. I could buy a new one shipped to my door from a belfast company for 70.

Did you have any luck as I think 69 plus change for a new one is great. Especially when woddies are selling the same for 89.

    Regards

I actually emailed them with a complaint and sent photos of the rust. As the bbq was less than two years old they sent me a brand new cooking grill from the UK within 36 hours.

Not the kind of customer service you are used to in this country.

    Hi,

Yes very impressive. Mine is well out of warranty. Must be 9 years old not and still going strong. Identical to the whats on sale now except for build quality I'd imagine. It was built to last.

    thanks
