I can never hit my irons right. They always go left and hooking or high right and slicing. I can hit my fairway woods perfectly. Can anyone help?

Just go and take a lesson with a pro. It could be a million and one things and you will get several conflicting fixes here. A pro could take one look at you and see your problem.

Failing that you could just throw away your irons and just use your fairway woods and your putter :D

I had a similar problem and what fixed it for me was keeping my eye on the ball and getting my wrists involved earlier in the backswing, along with really trying to follow through as far out towards the target as I could. As has been said though, it literally could be anything. I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear but you should get a lesson.

No it isn't what I wanted :) but what I expected. I think I might be hitting them fat.

I recently changed to Wilson Di9's and everytime I took a shot with them they were either shooting off to the right or I was shanking them, until today, my playing partner noticed that I was holding the new irons a bit further back from the ball compared to my last set resulting in my down swing hitting the top of the ball, now it was only a few inches and I wouldnt have noticed it but since he mentioned it to me I move the iron a bit closer to the ball and the difference is amazing, but it took someone else to notice the problem for me
