    Hi,

    First time poster here.

What one word sums up music for you ? Depending on the type you're into it could be anything, but is there a word that sums up all music ?

Sorry - just I posted it to see you had come up with exactly the same 3 minutes earlier - it was simply

"How the hell did you come up with that before me:D?"

that's going a bit too far, don't you think?

I was going to say 'sublime', but I'm sitting in a shopping centre and the last three songs on the radio have been by Snow Patrol, Train and Rihanna. So I'm shtumped now...

Some other other words that spring to mind about music (granted not all music ) are : ego, greed, industry, and commercialism ;)

    For most published music, plagiarism.

For the small percentage of music that is good there is no single word to describe the wide range of emotions it can invoke.

Music are the sounds that take your breath away and it doesn't have to be music played by men, it could also be the wind or the sea, or the sounds of the rain. That's what I call music.
