scrap an irish car in the north

    If i was to drive up the north to buy a new car (new to me) could i give my old car to a scrapyard there? Have any of ye ever done this or see any problems with doing it.

    Where is eastwoods? i need somewhere around lisburn.
    and collect 14 sterling:cool: scrapyards in the south don't know how good they have it.

    barney eastwood own the north almost that was belfast i was on about earlier i am sure if you google it he is more wide spread than just belfast ,

    why would you give away a car running well enough to drive ity north? Its worth €€€€€s in parts.

    Too much work to be done to get it through the nct again but reliable enough to get me up there, and it's really not worth much.

    PS. I know you like classics, i just spotted a nice mk1 cortina 4dr with the lotus stripe on donedeal for 2k.

    stick it on adverts or done deal for a couple of hundred and see if any takers, plenty of people looking for cheap fix er up cars...

    just be honest in the ad.. and i sure it will sell

    Put it up for 250 euros on Adverts .ie ..

    Some foreign lad thats mechanically minded will buy it.

    Nothing to lose by trying it.
