Any idea where I can find out how many cars were in Ireland during 1950s?

Hello, does anyone know of a site which might have this data? I found out that there were 38 in Dublin in 1904, but that isn't really helpful... Thanks a lot!

Central Statistics Office Ireland is where I'd start.

Click through, but I can only see stats starting from 1954.

Start from HERE if you are having trouble navigating.
