€20 for these anyone think they would manage 3 days at the picnic if the weather was mank?

I'm just slightly put off that they are stating water resistant as apposed to water proof.

water resistant means it'll take a bit of drizzle, but that's about it
better to pay extra for a water proof one

of course if it's for a music festival, I can understand alot of people might want to get a cheap one and dump it before they leave

Mate had one at Oxegen, was useless. Get a proper tent.

Wouldn't last 1 day if the weather was mank!

Useless if there's rain. top layer touches the inside layer and the water seeps through.
Bought one last year and had a great snooze in the car.

I bought a rocky 3 in the irish millets or one of the other shops around capel street a few years ago , cost me ~€30 and its survived both oxegen & EP twice.

Hose it down most years out the garden afterwards and dry it out.

good advantage is it has a sheet in the "porch".

no soggy knees or arse when trying to clamber in and out pissed as a fart.

its fully rain proof with two layers.

poles snapped on years and i knicked some out of one of the abondoned tents.

anyway if you can spot it anywhere its well worth the price.

The Gelert website has a RRp of £60 but there is no way i paid this price.

If they're the same as the one they had last year you should be fine. I got one for oxegen, and it was one of the three we had in our group that didn't collapse or leak.
