A few cans of Amstel or bottles of Brahma if I'm at a party.
Down a bottle of wine if I'm pre drinking before heading out for the night.
Cider in a pub or if it's sunny outside.
Vodka if I'm in the mood to get absoultely banjaxed.
Jaegermeister is nice after a meal.

Think that covers all eventualities :D

Like Old Goat, I be a bit of a drink slut. I like many and varied forms of alcomehol - brandy, whiskey, gin, tequila, sambucca, the odd vodka martini, Mojitos, Corona and il vino. I picked spirits in the poll as that's where the category most of my drinks choices would fall into.

However, if I had to pick only one drink, it'd be a glass of wine. It's by far the most relaxing drink imo. The poll didn't allow me to pick wine though :(

That was most likely to discourage Beruthiel from posting about her love of Blue Nun. :D

Ah, but you, like I, are far too discerning to drink such a beverage as lager :D

I mix and match my drinks with merry abandon on a night out. I can't help it: I get bored of something after six rounds of it. It's a wonder how my liver copes

Wine isn't a drink, it's akin to human drain un-blocker. If you are feeling a little bloated, crack open a bottle of plonk.

If wine the Dyno-rod of the alcohol world, Blue Nun is the wire brush.

There is something about the way a man drinks a glass of wine that I find fairly...ghey. Cider is something little boys drink before they hit puberty and have yet developed a taste for anything proper.

    Hello all!

Been awhile since I posted, but I had to post in support of a fine single malt or even better, bourbon!

It'd have to be Dutch Gold before we head out-its a tradition.

Then Budvar when im out cause its the most common decent beer, along with Pilsner Urquel, Fischers etc. Most refreshing of em.

Spirits if im in a club which isn;t often, prefer pubs. And no wine cause they're usually not veggie. Most beers don't use animal products- particularly fish eyes in the process, i know Budvar doesn't and the other beers i drink, just stout and few others like Carling red etc....

non drinker/Tree hugger etc....pretty pathetic. I'm hardly either.

    Ale
    Spirits(Southern Comfort+Lime, Captain+Coke or JD+Coke)
    Beer/Lager

For four years I never had anything except bulmers and spirits, I've never had a pint or bottle if beer. Then about a month ago my friend ordered me a pint of guinness I choked it down. Didn't want to be seen as a girl so in my round I ordered another one. Ever since then that's all I've drank.

Still drink spirits in nightclubs or if their is nothing else and also love long island ice teas.

I drank bud and vodka (seperatly) for the last 3 years, i was on the cider there all summer and thought i would go back for the lager 2 nights ago. I took the first mouthful and was physically sick i wasnt unwell or anything before hand so dont know what triggered it.

does anyone elses tastebuds ever adapt so much that something similar happens?? i would love to know.......

needless to sayim still on the cider.................for now.

Smithwicks FTW. Though I've recently discovered the delights of Macardles.

The cost of Smithwicks always puts me off buying it from off licences eveb though it's my favourite tipple

    Stout
Smithwicks for starters, Morgans and coke after that...

I never realised so many people appreciated Smithwicks, I took a bit of stick at the start for drinking it.
