Dell OptiPlex 380 - two questions

    1. How do I find out if the desktop computer comes with a wireless connection (for broadband)? Can't seem to find out when tweaking the specs on the Dell website. Maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing.

    2. Is there much benefit in purchasing a 64-bit operating system? The RAM is 4GB and I will be using a few old-ish web dev programs, so is there much point in going for 64-bit over 32-bit?

    Go for 64bit and the wireless card is usually available as an optional extra when you're going through the build after you choose your base type.

    A wifi adapter is not an option with a Dell Optiplex that I've checked. You'd need to buy it seperately. There's just an external wireless accesss point offered with the 380.

    The Vostros and Inspiron desktops have usb wireless keys amongst the options.

    Thanks for the info. Pretty annoying that wireless cards don't come as standard these days in desktops. I'll check out the wireless key options mentioned above.
