    Hi lads,

sorry if this has been covered already, i searched it and found other threads but nothing on this issue.

Anyway, the GF got me a lovely shiny ipod touch last xmas, assuming as with most consumer electronics, that it came with a 1 year warranty.
Anyway it dropped yesterday and screen cracked, I didn't drop it, it dropped itself:p
Is it covered? the GF obviously didn't give me a receipt and I don't know how much of the paperwork, if any, I kept! And if it is covered what do I do?? I assume apple can tell when it was registered etc. so they will know when it was bought, well I hope they will:confused:

    Any help/advice/info???? please!? :pac:

wouldnt imagine so, its damage through neglect tbh as you let it fall.
a new screen is about 60-70e supplied and fitted by FM Mobile on Camden Street.

neglect/dropping it, you know what i mean :D
ie. its not a fault with the product, the problem is due to the fall.

yeah sorry didnt realise you were in cork but theres a guy on www.donedeal.ie that advertises screen fixes and he is based in Cork.
