Bed over stair box?

Hi not sure if this should be in diy section or not but..
Want to put a single bed into a small box room so was hoping to put the bed over the stair box. Has anyone done this or know of any beds which can be altered to accommodate box. Pics would be great if possible? Carpenter in the family who I'm hoping can help

Just did it.Carpenter friend of mine built a single bed (6 feet 6 inch long,3 feet wide).Also built 2 storage drawers into the bed too.Very handy to have,when we have family and/or friends over and someone wants to have a drink,and stay overnight.Got a single bed mattress from Des Kelly Carpets

Carpenter also made a shelving unit and book case unit,that is built into the wall,just above the bed.

He has turned a small box room into a 4th bedroom now,that can sleep an adult in comfort.
