I drink pints... fuck anyone who thinks I shouldn't. I'm not going to explain why I like drinking pints and why people should think it's ok for women to do so.

I don't see anything wrong with girls drinking pints.

As long as a girl is drinking what she wants to, rather than just trying to fit into some group, it's all good. If she wants wine, drink wine. If she wants Guinness, get a pint of Guinness. Simples!

I love a nice pint and for the life of me I couldn't care less what anyone thinks of that. Buying a glass of beer or a bottle is just a waste of money alot of the time.

I agree Izzy. I'm a bloke but live in Amsterdam. Now the Dutch drink beer out of glasses called "fluitjes". These things are ridiculous. They are less than a QUARTER of a pint and you'd see big burly men in overalls in the pub drinking lager from these dainty little thimbles. I order a half-litre and they comment "you must be thirsty"...I say "no more so than you mate, I just hate having an empty glass every two swigs and have to wait for Inga there to give me a refill".

I used to drink pints but I moved onto bottles as I fed up drinking badly pulled pints with frog eyes. :eek:

I will resort back to pints if the bottles are not ice cold..

Edited to say: A friend of mine drinks pints of Ale no problem to her.

I used to drink pints of Guinness all the time, so did plenty of other women in my local. Guinness just doesn't taste right in a half glass. I don't drink the black stuff so much anymore, but I will have the odd one and it has to be a pint. It's funny, if I go into a pub with my OH and order a pint of Guinness and a bottle of beer or whatever he's drinking, you can be sure that the bar man will put the Guinness in front of the OH. I still drink pints of beer/ale, but will drink bottles depending on the occasion/pub.

I'm super tiny (less than 5ft!) and I always drink pints when I'm out! I know it probably looks hilarious but I couldn't care less. Why should anyone give a toss what you drink? My boyfriend thinks it's gas the way I can keep up with him pint for pint...not so funny when he's carting me home because I can't handle my drink as well as I used to
