sim card but no number?

i recently ordered a cheap mobile phone from mymemory.co.uk to be able to receive phonecalls from the uk but there is no phone number supplied,is this the norm?

You bought a phone from a memory company. A telephone company will provide you with a SIM.

some phones come with sim's, others don't. sim free phones generally don't.

are you looking for a uk or roi number?
