Working two jobs, one for work experience, the other a weekend job. So yes, six days a week, sometimes seven.

I know one person on the dole. He's now gone back to do his Masters, basically he's trying to drag his way out of this mess. I tip my hat to him.

Never been on it in my life thankfully and I'm not sure I'd be able to handle having all that time off with nothing to do. It'd be nice for a couple of weeks but I could see boredom setting in quickly, I have genuine sympathy for people unable to find work.

Working at the moment but it's so stressful sometimes I feel it isn't worth it, then feel bad because my family would lose out on very appreciated money if I packed it in. I'm 20 and have been working here since I've left school !

I'm not thankfully, dont take my job for granted, although my job is pretty safe (well whatever safe actually means these days).

Was on the dole in 2000 for about 3 months, think it was 80punts a week at the time. It was a short period and a long time ago but the memories of the boredom and daily routine of making rasher sandwiches resonates with me.

was working, then claimed my stamps, before my stamps ran out if someone told me that I should have applied for a C.E scheme I would be able to get €250 pw for some type of work, but as I didnt I got means tested, not entitled to anything,if I was to try for J.S.A I would have to be working (on books)for I think 13 weeks first.
any fás course I want to do WILL be paid for me but I will get no allowence.

sending c.v's off to every possible job going about 10 a day, only got 1 no reply and feck all else
