Does anyone have any experience of doing an ironman through an agency (eg Nirvana, not sure of others)? I'd like to give Austria a shot but I was too busy lying in pain in an unconditioned Frankfurt hotel when the entries opened and closed.

How much should I expect to pay for the standard package and when do they usually come up for sale (there doesn't seem to be anything on offer at the moment)?

Only other alternative would be to do a harder ironman course or Roth (with the latter definitely my preference!)

    Cheers

They are all hard. But they are all sold out.

I know one lad who did IM frankfurt this year with Nirvana.

    Great race Austria, great race.

Of course they are ALL hard but some are harder than others. Simple fact that you are going to be racing for an extra 30-45 mins in some of them makes it harder.

Speed is obviously my primary concern though rather than difficulty. Having a wet suit swim next year for a start would be nice.
