Kinetica tastes lovely and is a far better product compared to most in terms of protein v carbs v fats IMO. I reckon it'll take over the irish Market in the next year or two.

Obviously taste is personal so phone them and ask for a taster sachet to check it out

do you follow a vegan diet? If not, ordinary whey protein is a whole lot cheaper than that. If so, MyProtein have a number of other plant-based proteins you could look at

I find Kinetica Whey does not mix as well as Gold Standard Whey, even using a blender. And it is dearer for the amount that you get.

the taste is grand though - all natural flavours.

the Kinetica recovery products are nice. really helps after a game or hard field training session

Kinetica can mix a bit gritty. Ive used it but cant compare it to anything else. It did tend to turn my stomach, and I have a half a tub of strawberry I just cant stomach anymore, even the smell gets to me now.

+1 on myprotein, really is the only way to go imo. I can't understand why you'd buy supps in Ireland if you have the means to order from myprotein.

Besides whole food http://www.myprotein.co.uk/products/milk_protein_smooth is my main protein source.

    Hi guys.

Kinetica comes in at 76 g protein per 100g.

Here is a simple protein Break down.

Personally ON ,Reflex, My protein do a good range.

Reflex Micowhey is 86g per 100g and is 100% isolate.

Lesser the protein content -lesser the servings in the tub !!!

Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Chocolate - 2.27Kg - 78g -81.5 of protein per 100gm - 74 servings (DEPENDING ON FLAVOUR)

    Reflex Micro Whey Tub - 2.27Kg - 86g of protein per 100gm - 75 -80 servings

    Reflex Instant Whey Bags - 4.4Kg - 80g of protein per 100gm - 176 servings

    Reflex Instant Whey Tub - 2.27Kg - 80g of protein per 100gm - 90 servings

    Reflex Instant Whey Deluxe Tub - 2.27Kg - 75g of protein per 100gm - 90 servings

    Reflex Micro Whey Tub - 2.27Kg - 86g of protein per 100gm - 75 -80 servings

    BSN Syntha 6 - 2.27Kg - 50g of protein per 100gm - 52 servings

    USN 100% Whey Protein - 2.27Kg - 70g of protein per 100gm - 67 servings

i drive by this place 5x per week on my way to IPG and its definitly closed down.

I happened to be in a supplement shop in galway a few months ago when the Kinetica rep
happened to walk into the shop and i managed to blag a few fistful of samples from him.

their whey protein isnt great tasting in my opnion bu the recovery stuff is good.

I recently bought a tub of Kinetica Chocolate flavour protein.
its not bad but it tastes "synthetic"

nothing wrong with the supplement factory either. 29.99 for 5lbs whey.

Is it just me or do I keep looking at the wrong thing on myprotein, I've never figured why people say it's so cheap? I get a 10lb bag of ON whey for 79.99 delivered.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

Where'd you get that? Was it on special offer?

despite all the Kinetica flavourings being 100% natural, unlike other brands
I randomly met a Kenetica rep in a Molloys pharmacy down the country and he told me this...

Natural flavourings doesn't necessarily mean that the flavouring derived from anything you would recognise as natural...
