so i was looking powercity for get anther Freesat Receiver and i saw this receiver

    http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-23-THD527&pages=2&prod=THD527&brands=TRIAX

so what required for this connect to this receiver...is that similar Aerial??? or satellite !?!?!

give me a few home lesson please

    Walker box: DTT only.
    - Requires an aerial only.

    Triax box: DTT and satellite.
    - Requires a dish (for satellite)
    - Requires an aerial (for DTT)

    Neither boxes are FreeSat certified.

Whether you can get DTT signals or not, it depends on where you are ... so, roughly where do you live?

DTT is a bit like analogue - except it is the digital version and supposedly better in many ways.

To receive DTT signals, you need a TV/receiver capable of decoding DTT signals, a newish aerial, some cable, and some idea where the ground-based transmitter(s) are ...

See the top one has been dropped in price (Hello to the Power city People!). Its still too dear though guys. I think we all have a fair idea of the unit cost an given it doesnt have MHEG5 it doesnt fully meet the spec. But it should pick up the stations. However you can get a Sigmatek DVBR 520 that does the same and plays MKV files from the USB for €60 from pixmania!
