Takuma and Vice confirmed, and Neo Max unveiled (it seems to be a move that can only be done by cancelling a DM into it, KOFXI Dream Cancel-style, during Hyper Drive Mode).

I'm sure everybody expected both from the positions of the blank slots.

Vice looks much scarier than before, suppose when shes not showing a nice bit of leg you don't get distracted and know to run for the hills.

On a side note I've been listening to the KoF2002UM soundtrack lately and it really drives home the lack of decent music in XII.

Hwa Jai is playable at the current location test in Hong Kong (move list below). This leaves only Team K' to be unveiled.

All the great designs they have and they pick this guy? He couldn't hope to be more generic, I think his crowning moment was getting knee'd in the face by Joe in the FF anime.

Granted I don't know his moves and being on a team with Kim might give him some character, but with so many fan favorites MIA...

I got KoF XII last Christmas, just to try out a new fighting game and since some chap on my friends list played it from time to time. Put off by crap online. If everyone gets into this, I might pick it up.

can i ask everyone to give this game a try and purchase it,
SNK nearly went dead a few years back, it would be good to keep capcom competitors [competitors? lol] alive.

besides it looks decent.

There's been no word on a console release yet, and there probably won't be for a while. That said, I'm really looking forward to it - they've recently proven with NGBC that they can actually make some decent netcode when they put the effort in.

Anyway, SNK haven't been holding back when it comes to palettes (source: http://www.mmcafe.com/cgi-bin/forums/bbs/messages/13173.shtml#52976)

Hidden colors
Some characters have an additional set of 10 colors that can be picked by hitting the start button at the palette select screen. They're more of the exception than the majority. I've only seen Yuri and Raiden thus far. Surprisingly, the more obviously popular characters like Iori and Mai doesn't have it.

But even more shocking is...

Raiden turns into Big Bear when you go into his hidden palette. SNKP must really have a love for him. Note that it's a head swap, so his moves and illustrations are the same as Raiden's.

Yuri gets her long hair back. She seems pretty pleased about it:

"Australian wrestling is fair dinkum number one, mate!"
