The recent redevelopment of the Ulster Museum has just paid off, after it won a top arts prize and is now busier than ever. It was a great little museum before, and now I'm really looking forward to my visit there, later this month when my father comes over for his visit.
But now that the Museum has achieved this much deserved recognition, please tell me that it is not now going to be spoiled by Creationist nonsense.

Is it not enough that society here is still divided up along the lines of religion, that religion is still a huge part of the education system and that church attendance rates are on the rise, again?

(BTW, I did check back a few pages to see if this had been done before, but couldn't find anything. Sorry if I missed it).

I can't see the museum accepting the demand to promote creationism above evolution.. it'd be retarded if they did though

Northern Ireland's born-again Christian culture minister has called on the Ulster Museum to put on exhibits reflecting the view that the world was made by God only several thousand years ago.

And I would like them to put on exhibits reflecting the view that the world was made by an allied committee of unicorns, leprechauns and singing kittens.

    Nonsense.

Seeing as no one can disprove what you have just said, then I agree. Why not?

Same logic innit. I only wish it was acceptable in all aspects of life to say 'ahh, but can you disprove it?

    This isn't going to happen.
