    Just for pig iron, im curious to see what Km's others get for €20 or €40 :p

    Iv a tiny 1.4 16V engine and get around 170Km for €20 with an average of 10 liters pre 100 Km. I use to get 220Km before the massive hike in petrol prices :eek:

    €20 approx 200km with 01' Mercedes c220 cdi automatic
    approx 240km with 10' Opel Insignia 2l CTDI EcoFlex manual

    Nice 200Km for a little 1.25....mate has a 1.1 clio and gets at least that but once he hits m50, chop it in half lol takes 4000 rpm to hit 120 in his car :pac:

    I was expecting my 1.4 to do me well but i can see a big hole in my pocket soon enough haha

    Put in €20 worth of fuel in my car today. Got 14.9l of petrol.
    Drove about 50miles. Used up a little more than a 1/4 of what I put in.
    But then again I was driving super economically today. Coasting around in 5th gear with my foot featherlight on the throttle not letting the revs go above 2k mark and all...

    i get 500 km for 40 litres costing about €46-€50 in a 1.6 petrol suzuki liana.
    Thats loads of stupid short trips and mostly country roads.

    is that good or bad??:confused::confused::confused:

    Its about 45mpg I think. Which is pretty good compared the the 30ish mpg I get with my normal (slightly hard driving). It takes considerably more effort to drive a car economically than it does to trash it around!!

    my opinion loosers are the drivers who stay in the second or third lane constantly, when first lane is empty... this is just plain ignorant to think that some lane is cool, but that is other threads discussion
    obviously I didn't get you joke, sorry:rolleyes:

    You are not long enought here ;) . Be here longer and you understand ;)

    P.s. Op, we count 100km to xxl back in my old country. Newer knew people started here aswell, as mpg is still extremly popular even if all roads are marked in km for quite a bit.

    Well thing is 100km to 10l is really alot for 1.4 . Even if thats city driving.
