4gb TDK micro SD for €7.50

    Was actually in a real shop with real people at the weekend:eek:
    But noticed in Tesco's they have 4gb TDK micro SD for €7.50 handy for phones. Also comes with the SD adapter and mini card reader!

    Aye picked up the same in Tesco Tralee. Word of warning, if you use the USB adapter with the card, make sure you have long finger nails to take it out again. It gets wedged tight in there.

    There was Class 2 and 4 there the day I bought one. Looked like there may have been a 6 but they were sold out. Obviously enough, I ended up with the 4 after that.

    tdk 4 gb misprice
    Hi all,

    Picked up 2 more of these TDK 4 gb micro SDHC card in Tesco Clearwater Finglas (some left on shelf).
    Scanned in at €9.52 but sign showed price as €7.40.
    The €9.52 related to the card and adapter pack.
    The ones I got were just the card on its own.
    Tesco gave me a full refund and gave them to me for free.
    This is the second time in the last 3 weeks that this has happened.

    Bought one, it does Not work in my Nokia 6300. My Nokia says "no memory inserted" or something similar

    Is this fixable?

    Might be the wrong type of memory? SD vs SDHC

    Thanks for that. Yeah, the Tesco's micro card is SDHC. My Nokia only accept SD (not SDHC) cards up tp 2g so your link says.

    Works perfectly with the key fob, smooth video and audio, the one I got from Tesco was the 4gb class 4 with the card reader and adapter for 7.40 euro or there abouts. Make sure you get at least class 4 as they may have lower ones.

    You can't "fix" a sdhc to make it work in a device that doesn't support it. Impossible to do.

    Yup, it'd be like trying to play a bluray in a dvd player. Looks the same but works differently.

    FYI none in Wilton either although did have the normal size SD for similar money.

    Got a 2GB MicroSD + SD Card adapter + USB adapter for €14.99 in Tesco Mahon Point.
    Was the last/only one they had with a USB adapter which is what I was really after.

    The 4GB with adapter and USB reader is half that price in Tesco, maybe yours is a higher speed? These are class 4.

    I think the jig is up, there was also a regular sdhc 4Gb card that they were selling for 7, which is pretty good, when i checked today the price had gone up to 17.99.
