I've got an early flight on Saturday morning [8.10am] so I'll need to be in the airport for 7am so I'm thinking leaving at 6.30am or so. and I'm considering my options. Ideally I'd like to get a Taxi to the airport from Glasnevin where I live, it'll be pricey [I'm thinking €20+... I know not a huge amount but relative to me being a student and the fare almost as much as the flight :p]

Or I could get the aircoach but thats a 30min walk to Drumcondra for me.

Anyone know any reliable taxi's that'll be there at 6.30am for me?

Any of the major taxi companies will suffice; VIP 01 478 3333 or NRC 01 677 2222 or ****ty Cabs, 01 8 727272 would all sort you out.

Of course if money is such an object then you shouldn't even afford to be going away in the first place:p

Or you could take Dublin Bus route 41 or 41b from Drumcondra for EUR 1.80.

Departures from Lower Abbey Street at 0610 (41) and 0630 (41b). The latter should have you there for 0700.

There are early morning departures on the 13 and 40/a that would connect into these services.

No way a taxi from glasnevin would be €20+. I got a taxi from Dublin 8 to the airport at 4.45am recently and it cost €22 if I recall correctly.

8202020 will sort you out. Always on time and 20% off the meter.

http://www.8202020.ie/ do 20% of the metered fare. I've used them for early morning runs from Drumcondra, no problem. There was some other crowd putting €4 vouchers though the door the other day.

I think €15 would be more likely. http://www.worldtaximeter.com/dublin is possibly overstating the distance (we don't know what street you live on) and there is unlikely to be much congestion at that hour. Are you travelling with someone that you can share with?

I would allow some extra time and have breakfast in the airport, rather than waiting for a taxi and being stuck for time.
