I hate the commando using knobs as well, but I dont get how laying on the floor in whats supposed to be an action/warfare game is meant to be enjoyable, do these people play God of War and tiptoe around in case Kratos breaks a nail? I much prefer getting stuck in there and causing mayhem, thats why lately I prefer playing Ground Wars, yeah they're full of noobtubing, semtex lobbing and dual shotgunning, but at least they're not dull :pac:

Indeed. It's beyond me how getting maybe 5 kills cause you are afraid to run around a bit is a good game. I still loathingly remember a game where there was 2 people on either team actually doing anything, the rest were just waiting.. Forever waiting.

Yup, any time I've ever played it its just guys sat somewhere hoping someone runs by, I kept getting killed by a guy who was actually lying prone on the window frame of the high window near the escalators on Terminal, couldnt figure out where he was till I passed under him, got him back then, I think after 10 minutes the score wasnt even in the 2000's, pathetic.

Actually.. Has anyone been in a game of Hardcore that went to the points finish? I don't play it too often, and every time it's ended by the time limit.

Where the hell are you guys playing that you're running into so many heartbeat sensors? I only ever play Hardcore these days and I encounter maybe one heartbeat sensor a session, and a session is usually about 6-10 completely separate games.

I don't get it. How am I having such a different experience to everyone else?

I play HQ Ricochet. Games always go to points finish, it's very rare that I see time limit..

Luck. You're very lucky. A majority of hc games I get (when I play) are camping snorefests. It's why I prefer regular.

yup, I like it when people actually, y'know, move around and shoot at each other.

But which HC mode are you playing? I never play TDM or SnD, only HQ. I can definitely understand it in the first two. I never really see it in HQ.. ever. I play a fairly good amount of it, too..

We're not counting Wasteland though, right? Pure snipe fest. Love it though (I don't snipe.)

I generally just play core TDM and s&d. I played a small bit of HC TDM but just found it to be a campfest. Maybe it was just bad luck but I enjoy the core games and think they offer different gameplay.

Also the lack of radar in HC left me disoriented to the point that I wonder how I get around without it in real life.

I might try HC again. Any other recommended game types? Sabotage and CTF leave me a little underwhelmed but never really tried HQ.

HC's a great idea, but it does suffer from camping. To the extent that it's unplayable.

Also, I've a really bad habit of killing team mates carelessly. :o

    That reminds me.

    Tip for generating hate mail.
    - Enter HC TDM
    - Equip RPG
    - Spawn, aim at floor and fire

With my lag I tend to spray a little. Which doesn't go down well. :D

Very silly.. but very funny hearing the reactions.

Me and a mate used to go into HSnD in COD4 and made sure we took out the entire team. Oh........... the hate mail we got.

Just saw that it was HQ liah was talking about before.. Yeah, HQ would probably go to points, but I've mainly played HC on TDM

i think heatbeat sensor is a waste of an attachment for hardcore as most people i find use ninja but you will get someone using commando

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,750 ✭✭✭liah

Start playing HQ then, guys! Much better experience, imo.

Hardcore TDM or HQ are the only game modes I play. And I think the Heartbeat sensor is useless on hardcore
