    It looks like there was two Gardaí standing around chatting in the left lane of a Dual Carriageway - A Carload of British Tourists came around the bend and swerved to avoid them thus causing a fire to break out in the Engine Bay.

    - Upon witnessing this one of the Gardaí involved commenced spot-checking Tax Discs while the other adopted a pose straight from Fashion TV.

    The one nearest the camera is a lady policeman. The body language says it all ...

    "Well I never. This carriageway was perfect this morning when I patrolled it, now look at the state of it.

    "These feken tourists, have they no respect? I bet they wouldn't do that at home to one of their own roads.

    "I'll need to go to LIDL/ALDI on the way home to clean this up. Let me see now :
    • Body-bags
    • Air fresheners
    • Vanish stain remover
    • Kitchen towels to soak up the oil and grease
    • Rubber gloves (I just did my nalis)
    • Wellies
    • Tow truck ...
