I booked a flight on Ryanair about 6 weeks ago and got no confirmation. I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I thought I had forgotten to book my flight today so I booked it again today!!! Then when I went to check my booking I noticed that I had indeed booked twice on the same flight. Can I get a refund ............. or have I lost out? Help Help Help

Really doubt it! Unless you get to talk to someone on the phone and they laugh and feel sorry for you!

    How did you pay?

    Paid by card.

Good news though ... I rang the Ryanair office over the weekend on the premuim number (:() but they are going to refund me the more expensive flight. Must say that they were very professional and have promised I will be refunded within 20 working days. I will keep everyone informed .... but so far I am pleased with the steps Ryanair have taken.

I done the same thing recently, the site went down as i confirmed the flights so i thought the booking had not went through but it had. I booked them again thinking it did not go through the first time but noticed on my bank statment they went through twice. Done the same thing as you and got my refund it about 2 weeks.

Nice to hear a positive story about them.

In my experience by the way when you book a ryanair flight, the item that appears on your credit card bill includes the booking reference number.

So if this ever happens again, you can log in and have a look.

Or you can just go to Option 3 on the Online check in and it should say if you have a flight or not. You may not be able to check in if it's over 15 days but you will get a message saying check in is not allowed at this time.
