    I think this is one of the worst defensive performances I have seen in my life, and to think that BBC was highlighting that Germany's defence was weak and England could easily take advantage

    The scape goat of course will be the ref and the linesman for the goal but the blame should be nearly entirely placed at their own doorstep. They never should have being playing this match, they should have topped their group and faced an easier match against Ghana. The disallowed goal will paper over the abject failure of their WC campaign.
