HTC Desire on meteor pay as you go

Does anyone know if you can get the desire on meteor pay as you go? Or if you buy from sites like pixmania could you just put in your sim card and would it work fine? Thanks

Last I heard Carphone Warehouse sell the HTC Desire on prepay for €399. I'm not sure what network it's sold under, but HTC handsets generally come unlocked by default, so there shouldn't be an issue using your Meteor sim one.
