Surely you'd be better off gettin the C530 or C550? There the 2010 models and should be better sets? The 40C530 is 500€ in power city and did at the moment with free delivery i think. And without gettin too technical a 40 samsung will have a much better panel than a 37", different panel manufacturers...

    Thanks Zonda

The C models look the way to go so.
37" is the limit for the room I am putting it in, 40" might be overkill :D

On the Powercity website, the 40C530 is €500 like you said, but the 37C530 is €650
    Whats that about?

Well DID are having a sale this weekend so PC are just matching them on the specific models so as to not look bad i guess. I know what you mean about fear of putting a too big tv into a room but 3" extra should'nt really kill it and i cant see anyone paying 150€ extra for a smaller set! :D And like i said earlier, like for like the 40" version will be the much better set

I'd be fairly sure too you wont see the 40C530 lower than 500€ anytime soon so if you're gonna go for it you had probably better make it quick! The 40c530 has now disappeared off the PC website so you're left with DID, i imagine that price will disappear at midnight though!

    Thanks again Zonda

Yep, I went for the LE40C530 from DID, had to buy it online though and pay 25 for delivery as I am living in Cork.

Should be arriving on Wednesday/Thursday, thanks again for the help.
I might write a quick review on it once I get it set up and post it in the HE Video Displays & Projectors forum.
