    The bong-smoking baby

    "Child services investigate after U.S. mother posts photo of son with drug pipe on Facebook. The disturbing image shows a baby sitting on a blanket wearing a nappy and putting the green glass smoking instrument to his mouth as if he were inhaling it".

    Another reason not to post anything that is slightly out of line on Facebook and its a good job she is not living in Ireland, she could be tracked down by the authorities here and then be locked up for 5 years for possessing the fcuking thing.

    i've a very funny photo of my kid when he was about 6 months old with a fag in one hand and a bottle of bud in the other.

    i didn't f'uckin put in on facebook though, cos i'm not a retard

    Jasis thats deadly, sum buzz getting the little one to suck on a hash pipe...... as the guys here have pointed out Hash is harmless and babies should be aloowed do it,,, no different than giving the baby water or chocolate....;)

    So far the news is the kid had a glass pipe in his mouth. Didn't see anywhere about the kid smoking hash.

    I have never met the woman,
    but I wouldn't be naive enough to judge a person based on a single action, that is obviously meant as a joke and is going to be dragged through the media hype factory for no reason, except to get the religious nuts and mothers of 5 angry over their cornflakes.

    Meh I have seen friends kids bursting a gut trying to to grab beer bottles out of their hands (and holding the bottles) at BBQs with everybody falling around the place laughing and taking pictures. If I had kids I would leave them with these people in a second.

    We have no indication as to whether or no this woman is a good parent or not, but one picture is no evidence to the contrary.

    Actually it makes me very facking angry that a parent would do that type of ****, I'm not naive enough to think babies wont simulate their parents, if the bong is lying around then its going to happen but for fack sake take the bong and put it on a shelf were the kid cant get it, dont take pictures and post them on the web....

    My kids will have the best props. They'll be the coolest kids in town.

    Honestly. People whinge about these pics being damaging to the kids but don't bat an eye when theres a child stamping his feet demanding to take a sht in his friends house on tv. Far more damaging to the kid in later life, imo.

    It's a bit of a stupid thing for them to do, there's nothing wrong with anything they've done but they should have realised they'd bring down overreactions like yours by putting it online for all to see, if they had any sense they would have made sure people like you wouldn't see it.
