New York. I have actually never been as happy as I was during the time I spent there. I've no idea what it is about the place, but I adore it. Cannot wait to go back.

Nice one, Did you find it safe? If I recall it's more Southern where it's considered a bit sketchy.

Madrid. Good weather, great food, culture, etc. Fantastic public transport and cheap domestic and international flights. Real coffee. Siesta and 3am bars. Cheap. Kind of wacky. Chatty locals. I miss it. :(

Probably London for me. That place is just so full of life compared to pretty much anywhere in Ireland for me. Being there twice already and loved it both times there.

If in Ireland, somewhere like malahide/portmarnock or howth on the northside or sandycove/blackrock on the southside. That or a big house in west galway.

Abroad, from where ive been id say new york or san diego.

Dublin for me. I get homesick when on holidays. If only I could find a job here.

Failing that Oslo to be close to the inlaws.

I don't think I could live permanently anywhere other than Ireland. But I would love to live in New York for a while. Or on a beach in Cabo, Mexico.

I like where I live but would love one of the much nicer houses across the road :)

The south of France, Belgium or Holland, but then I think I would long for family and friends :(

Living in the best area ever at the moment, lovely apartment, beach is just down the road but there's no aldi here :(

Yeah no wonder you got homesick i hated that place and i was homesick and i was only there for a week it was so unhomeing know one knew english and everything was old and scary, the doors had no locks or anything, it would have to be america for me i went there for 2 months and didn't even think about home infact i cried when i came back for 2 whole weeks because everything was depressing and crap here , the worst thing was landing here and seeing the crap fog and rain and then hearing the depressing northern ireland accent! Its so warm and sunny there, and everything is so big and everything its great!!!!

There aren't many places I'd prefer to live than where I am now, but if I had to move, it would be to Argentina.

I'm happy out living in Galway having moved from Dublin 3 years old, in my opinion the best place to live in Ireland :) .
I'm from the west and always had a longing to go back, the quality of life is amazing here, there's no down side. I wouldn't go back to the big smoke for a million quid !!

I love where i am now.

Broke, ****ty job, shoe box of a house, but surrounded by what matters to me. (thats the gayest thing im ever going to say on boards so take a screen shot)

If you cant be happy in life with what you have, you will waste most of your life chasing a dream that when it happens you'll be too old to enjoy it.

Manage ambition with being content in the now = win
