Got one of two individual spots before but nothing like what I have now. Nothing has changed - same cycle shorts as always etc.... Is there a term for this - do many cyclist get it - remedies

Well, if you haven't been washing your shorts then you should start there.
If you have been, then maybe it's a reaction to the detergent washing powder.
