    Credit due to England on reaching the knock-out stages. Painful displays but improving and it's results that count.

    Only downside it gives more time for more moaners to make the more than usual moanful predictions.

    I never heard such rubbish. I think you need an Eamon Dunphy John Giles Lecture.

    What about Irish players in other English clubs are they worth your cheer?
