oh as well as the normal highlighting text and clicking search for this tex in google, you can 'paste and search' instead of just 'paste' in the url bar, which I love

history is way better

there is a taskmanager for each tab, and you can see what memory is being used etc, can kill one tab if its crashing you like musci threads etc

If you visit a website that includes site search (for instance: http://search.labnol.org/) – Chrome will automatically recognize and add that search engine for you so the next time you can perform a search on that site via the Chrome address bar itself.

oh and about:memory in urlbar is cool

if you just want to open a sire from your desktop you can go to 'control the current page' and click ' create application shortcuts' and youll have a shortcut on your desktop or your start menu or your quick launch icons beside time, go to boards from there etc.

can drag a tab from one window to another, if you need that ever lol

oh sync tyour short cuts with google/gmail...every computer you use chome on will then have all your bookmarks ^_^, its deadly

lets you autofill forms and make user profiles

if you search in a foreign language and all teh sites come up in that language you can click and it translates the results to english for you.

can open pdfs in it, dunno if could with FF

Chrome allows you to increase (or reduce) the size of the textbox provided on any webpage.

you can resize any text box you are writing in on any site. drag at corner.

when you start chrome you can set it to have more than one homepage so that they all open for you.

see where stuff saves along the bottom of teh screen? you can drag it from there onto the desktop and it copies the file there

Images like just randomly half of a google search not showing up and I can't see the pic in your sig not instance, just the little error button thing.

Don't tell me they have the same size font, it's wayyyyy bigger in chrome, nice n teeny in FF how I like it.

Don't tell me it highlights on first click, it bloody doesn't.

Wouldn't be bothered about the shortcut to a particular page on desktop, I need to have gmail opened with everything.

No drop down in the url bar is weird.

No I don't use a toolbar at the bottom of the screen, just use the docky so that there's nothing there till I hover over it.

hmm thats odd cos for the first day ever that image stuff is ahppening to me, and some web pages have to be refreshed to be loaded...I can see things randomly and randomly not. You gave chrome aids

heh gmail...I have a certain order that must be maintained. On teh very left gmail must be open at all times. next to that is TCD gmail account, if I have that open, next is all boards tabs, next is any other site..must be maintained!

what do you use the dropdown for...also i like in chrome..if I simply type y and enter...I go to youtube etc.

hate those hover things, no idea why. stay locked in place :mad:

ok I really hate that you are not believing me about the font etc :mad:

First click does nothing.

It really doesn't like refreshing pages and it tells me way often that the page is down etc when it isn't.

Plus I see 'Oops! Google Chrome could not find.......<insert page here>'
way too often and it's not my internet, my connection is very good at the minute.

I've come to the conclusion that chrome works better on windows than linux.
