Lost to them today in the camogie by a point, a perfectly good point that was over the bar was not allowed by the umpires, who waved it wide

Anyone watch the Denmark and Cameroon game? Most entertaining match that I've seen so far!

Brilliant game, load of mistakes on both sides, but made for a great game!

Were Cork playing in camogie today?

Yep, seniors lost by a point to KK, intermediates drew with Limerick - ridiculous carry on today, senior camogie playing at 1, senior ladies footballers playing at 3.15 beating Kerry 2-8 to 1-6 - Rena Buckley and Mary O Connor played both games afaik - wouldn't happen in the mens game!

    Fair play!
Cork have won the camogie or football title a couple of years in a row now haven't they?? I think I saw it on the news a while back!

But do the women do train 4 times a week.

Training less would make it even harder. 4 training sessions isn't exactly a lot to ask for. I'm sure any committed player male or female does it easily.

When training for important matches, men train everyday before work and after work....
I'm sure the camogie players would do something similar!

4 out of the last five in the camogie, Wexford stopped the 3 in a row in 07. Footballers have won the last five in a row!

Inter county training 3 times a week in the evening, club training 1/2 times a week - for the dual players they could be training 5/6 times a week at inter county, clubs don't see them only in the weeks leading up to championship, which is two weeks time for the football. All the players would have their own fitness training to do outside of that as well

What I meant by that statement is that a fella would not be expected to tog out for a inter county hurling game at 1pm in one place, then rush to an inter county football game in another place.

TBH they wouldn't be scheduled like that in the first place.

I agree - it really should not have happened that way at all, not enough communication between the two boards!

Paraguay beat Slovakia - there seems to be very few people at the KK v Dublin game in Croke Park, or does it just look worse on TV?

    2-0!
KK/Dublin match seems to be fairly empty alright! Maybe they shouldn't have held it in Croke Park because it can fit like 80000+ people and they're not gonna get that many people to show!
Dublin are lucky not to be behind by more tbh! I'm shocked with the amount of KK wides!

I missed the second goal - Da Silva should have scored during the first half, but I'm delighted he set up the second goal, 11 points for me!

KK seem kind of rusty all right, Dublin should go back to playing 6 forwards, and give the ball to their full forward, he has the beating of Hicky

Good man De Rossi. That's why he's on my fantasy team. That's twice he's brought Italy back into it.

What is up with this World Cup and it's draws? And the uselessness of most of the big teams? The lesser teams are really putting it up to them.:)

France refused to train today because of a dispute between Evra and the fitness coach.

Can I just say, it makes my blood boil, that our lads would've killed to play at a(nother) World Cup, and this pack of prima-donna, sulky, arrogant tosspots don't give a flying fúck.

It's supposed to be an honour to represent your country at a world cup, no matter how many times you've done it, how many trophies you've won, or how much your club pays you. These cúnts are sitting back and letting the manager take all the flak. It's all his fault, he's getting the sack after the tournament anyway, no need to bother.

    Fúck off Thierry Henry
    Fúck off Nicolas Anelka
    Fúck off William Gallas
    Fúck off France

    You wankérs.

Fully agree. As I said before, I know its petty, but when a team who got there in controversial fashion end up doing this, we have every right to be annoyed as football followers, people who want to see their nation in the WC and actually fight for their place.

Announcing Blanc as replacement manager BEFORE the competition was retarded. Why the hell does Domenech care how they do? He clearly doesn't. So that means its up to professionals to show how to work in that situation, and all they do is act like this. They need to take a long hard look at themselves and assess their own commitment before aiming any vitriol at their national team manager.

Good riddance to them, the WC will be better without them!

It was in support of Anelka getting kicked off the team and being sent home.

Yeah, same happened to me. :( Fabiano's two goals helped my score though, so can't complain too much!
