Could someone please enlighten me to exactly what this is? It's something about measuring your body fat percentage and then having a plan worked out for you to target the bits that need most work... or something like that, isn't it?

Is it any good / reliable? I've noticed my gym does Bio Sig testing but I haven't really heard much about it?!

    Thanks!

You're probably in the same gym as me. I've done it and found it helpful. They take body fat measurements from about 12 sites, using the tricep as the baseline they see which ones have the biggest variance. The theory being that it's indicative of hormone imbalances.

Once the findings are known the instructor will be able to advise you on changes in diet that will benefit you, as well as what particular supplements will help.

Beware the Poliquin supplements though, they are very pricey.

One of my friends is doing this biosignature thing. He told me that it cost him 125 euro for 4 sessions where the trainer comes to his house and outlines a plan for him every week.. takes his bf percentage etc. The trainer told him to take 25 fish oil tablets every day (yes 25). THe strange thing is that he is actually following the trainers advice. Unsurprisingly he isn't losing any weight, but he hasn't really changed his eating habits much though. I think the 25 fish oil tablets every day is a bit strange..
