Most amount of 3 Putts in one round?

I am just wondering what is the most amount of 3 putts anyone has had in a round? Just asking as I hit a new low yesterday (Open Singles) with 8 3 Putts. I actually played well (had 35pts) but could not putt. I was surprised as my putting is usually ok, not great but decent.

8 three putts and score 35 points, your long game must be good.
i had 4 three putts last week (most in a long time)
had 29 putts the other day (least in a long time)
believe you can putt great and you will

had 5 3's and 4 putt in hollywood lakes a couple of years ago in a open the greens were super fast and the pins cut on every hill they could find greenkeeper must have been in a foul mood nothing harder that a 2 foot down hill putt with a foot of break and nothing to stop it for 10 feet after the hole.

Had 4 three putts and a 4 putt earlier this year. 13 greens in regulation and no birdie!! Only round this year without a birdie. Got a putting lesson since and am putting well again.

Only played about 20 rounds this year but have only had one 3 putt that was in Wirral in Liverpool I played in May.

My putting is decent although need to hole few more 10-15 footers.

Now as for my long game:rolleyes:

worst round of my golfing life last night, i'd say i 3 putted about 10 of the holes. :mad::mad:
Tee to green wasn't too bad but chipping in and putting were a disaster.

This may sound weird but I've had plenty of 3 and even 4 putts on slow/flatter greens, but less on the quicker/more undulating greens.

I think this is because the tougher greens are on better quality courses - Played Nicklaus' Condado course in Spain and The European recenty (actually playing the Euro again on Wed:), but that's another topic) - and the speed's/rolls are FAR more consistent, even though quicker. If you can get a good feel early on, you know that you're going to find the same speed/roll all day and this takes (some) doubt away.

i'd say it's more his hcap is "good",if you know what i mean,op,what hcap are you btw?

Was that Mahon charlie ?
If so I feel your pain - every pin was stuck to the front of the green and they were much faster than usual (or so I thought)

played Lucan yesterday, greens were in great condition.

Had 6 3-putts

Then an all time low for me, I 5-putted one hole. 3-wood off the tee, 7-iron to about 20 feet, ran 1st putt 10 feet past the hole, 2nd putt lipped out and ran about 3 feet past, 3rd putt ran 4 feet past, left 4th putt on the lip, and couldn't miss from 0,5 centimeters

Depressing, tee to green went well. Had 30 points overall, should have been considerably better though!!!
